Suspension and Tires
All EquiSpirit trailers are equipped with rubber torsion suspension axles which are matched to the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of the model to provide the horses with the smoothest possible ride. The standard Self-Adjusting brakes (forward adjusting brakes) continually keep the brakes adjusted to optimum efficiency.
Rubber torsion axles absorb most all the "bumps” and vibrations in the road, giving relief to your horses legs, allowing them to arrive at your destination energized rather than depleted. The Self-Adjusting brakes eliminate you having to have your brakes periodically adjusted and raised your comfort level knowing that your brakes are working at maximum capacity.
All EquiSpirit horse trailers utilize only the best tires for your horse's safety. EquiSpirit's tag-alongs and 2 horse goosenecks use 225s, which are rated to hold 2,270 lbs of weight each instead of most commonly used 205s which are rated to hold1,890 lbs. each. After all, the safety of your horses is riding on it.
